MoMo partner accounts are specifically designed for businesses and business households. These accounts comply with regulations in Circular 25/2025/TT-NHNN on account identification. In practice, each MoMo business QR code corresponds to a payment reception account registered under the business household's name, identified by its business registration certificate. This setup ensures that customers using MoMo partner accounts, business QR codes, and MoMo speakers can continue operations on a system that meets identification requirements.

Concurrently, new regulations on tax management and business information are being implemented, with increasing clarity on transparency and account standardization requirements. According to Decree 68/2026/ND-CP, business households and individual business owners must report all accounts used for business operations to tax authorities, including bank accounts and e-wallets. This regulation indicates that e-wallet account numbers are valid information in the tax management records of business households and individual business owners. Along with the guidelines in Circular 18/2026/TT-BTC, these legal frameworks clarify the use of e-wallets in business operations and information declaration.
A MoMo representative stated that, understanding the practical needs of partners during the information standardization phase, the company promptly updated its system with additional support mechanisms. These updates simplify information completion for partners, preserving the familiar sales payment reception experience.

Starting from 19/3, the platform implemented a feature to link MoMo transfer notification speakers with business households' bank accounts. This allows partners to receive and withdraw funds directly to their bank accounts more conveniently. The process involves three basic steps: First, users access the MoMo app, go to the partner section, and select "update business household account." Then, users fill in the information as instructed, upload their business registration certificate, and add previously registered bank account details.
For partners currently using MoMo partner accounts, along with QR codes or transfer notification speakers, these solutions can continue to be used for business operations. These methods currently meet identification requirements according to existing regulations, thus not affecting operations.
In the near future, MoMo plans to continue adding features to support identity information updates. These features include adjusting MoMo account names to match information on business registration certificates and providing pre-filled tax declarations. These updates help customers reduce steps when performing procedures and save time during the declaration process. Detailed information will be announced by MoMo directly via the app or the MoMo Partners fanpage.
A company representative stated that these adjustments help partners continue using existing payment reception solutions while simplifying the process of completing identification information. This foundation makes cash flow tracking clearer, operations more convenient, and business activities stable amidst the implementation of new regulations.
