Super Hi International, the entity managing Haidilao's international operations outside mainland China, reported robust financial results for 2025. According to its annual report filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the company's total revenue surpassed 840 million USD last year, marking an increase of nearly 8%. Pre-tax profit reached approximately 49,5 million USD, a rise of nearly 50% compared to 2024.
Vietnam emerged as Super Hi International's 4th highest revenue-generating foreign market in 2025, trailing Singapore, the US, and Malaysia. The company recorded revenue of over 93,9 million USD in Vietnam, equivalent to more than 2,400 billion VND. This represents an increase of nearly 7% over 2024, translating to an average daily collection of over 6,5 billion VND for the Haidilao hotpot chain in Vietnam.
The hotpot chain entered the Vietnamese market in 2019, opening its first restaurant at the Bitexco tower in Ho Chi Minh City. Haidilao has since expanded its presence to 17 restaurants across Vietnam, including six establishments in Hanoi, 10 in Ho Chi Minh City, and one in Nha Trang.

Haidilao was founded by Truong Dung in 1994 in Jianyang City, Sichuan province. His hotpot restaurant quickly surpassed competitors in the region. Starting with just four tables, the restaurant rapidly expanded to occupy an entire floor of a building, featuring meticulous decor and air conditioning.
By 1998, Truong Dung opened his second restaurant. Super Hi International operated 109 Haidilao restaurants worldwide by the end of 2025. The company's initial public offering (IPO) in 2018 also contributed to its founder becoming a USD billionaire.
