IntelliTrans API platform expands transportation partner connectivity

IntelliTrans launches a self-service API portal, enabling transportation companies and partners to connect quickly and exchange data seamlessly without altering existing systems or operational processes.

The IntelliTrans API Platform Developer Portal offers a centralized, guided space for carriers, brokers, and enterprise systems to integrate. This solution enables flexible connectivity, ensuring customers are not forced to replace existing integrations or adjust how they operate their logistics chain.

According to Chad Raube, IntelliTrans CEO, the speed and reliability of integration have become an operational priority for transportation teams. The new API portal helps shippers and partners connect with IntelliTrans in a practical, scalable way that fits their current operating model. This reduces friction in connectivity and creates a foundation for deeper automation across the entire supply chain ecosystem.

This self-service API portal provides comprehensive centralized API documentation, SDK sample code, and a live testing environment, helping developers shorten deployment time and integrate with enhanced reliability. The platform supports multiple operational scenarios in road, rail, and multimodal transport, contributing to a consistent, real-time data flow across the entire transportation ecosystem.

At the operational level, the IntelliTrans API Platform Developer Portal immediately supports five core business groups. The platform allows shipment coordination with functions for submitting orders, accepting, spot bidding, price updates, and exchanging shipment details. The system also supports real-time status updates and uploading documents such as bills of lading and delivery receipts to improve accuracy and optimize payments.

In addition, the platform enables multimodal transportation data exchange with ERP systems, helping to unify processes and enhance traceability. The solution also integrates yard management with ERP, including railcar movements, loading/unloading events, and railcar tracking for inventory control. Finally, the API portal supports partners to self-register, authenticate, and establish secure API connections based on standardized documentation.

IntelliTrans is an American logistics technology company specializing in providing transportation management software (TMS) and multimodal supply chain solutions for businesses. Founded in 1992, with its headquarters in Atlanta, the company serves shippers, carriers, and logistics partners globally.
