Jaeger-LeCoultre timepieces set to launch in Vietnam

Jaeger-LeCoultre returns to the Vietnamese market with a new boutique on Trang Tien street, introducing its renowned watch collection to local connoisseurs.

Few world time watches (tracking time in multiple locations globally) incorporate a tourbillon regulator. According to the brand, the Master Grande Tradition Calibre 948 is the first timepiece to achieve this. The dial's map rotates once every 24 hours, synchronized with the tourbillon cage.

The Master Grande Tradition Repetition Minutes Perpetuelle combines two leading complications: a perpetual calendar and a minute repeater. A distinctive feature of this timepiece type often lies in its chimes. With the model Jaeger-LeCoultre brings to Vietnam, wearers can savor chimes reminiscent of classic pocket watches. Its automatic winding mechanism and a safe zone indicator on the hands, reminding wearers not to adjust the time between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., are features highly valued by collectors.

Shooting stars inspire Jaeger-LeCoultre's feminine Rendez-Vous watch line. This model also originated from the Metiers Rare division, featuring a multi-layered sapphire crystal dial, with clouds and moonlight alternately obscuring and revealing sparkling stars.

The intricate movement within the Master Grande Tradition Repetition Minutes Perpetuelle exemplifies Jaeger-LeCoultre's highest-level watchmaking prowess. The watchmaker from the Joux Valley has produced over 1,400 movements since its inception. In the realm of chiming watches alone, the brand boasts a remarkable history with over 200 different models.

The 101 Feuille high-end jewelry watch in white gold draws inspiration from a sparkling diamond bracelet. Internally, the 101 Feuille houses the micro-movement Calibre 101. According to the brand, this is the world's smallest mechanical watch movement, weighing approximately one gram, with a thickness of 3,4 mm and a volume of 0,2 cm3, despite being composed of nearly 100 components.

American actress Amanda Seyfried notably wore this version at the 2018 Venice International Film Festival. Jaeger-LeCoultre also states that Queen Elizabeth II wore a timepiece equipped with the Calibre 101 movement during her 1953 coronation, an event that marked the first live televised British coronation.

One of the trio of handcrafted Rendez-Vous Sonatina masterpieces has arrived in Hanoi for the launch of Jaeger-LeCoultre's new boutique. Globally, only 10 timepieces of this "Peaceful Nature – Koi" model have ever been created. The dial features a miniature scene of koi carp gazing at the moon, cleverly integrating a day and night indicator window. This watch was crafted by artisans from Jaeger-LeCoultre's Metiers Rare (rare crafts) division using black lacquer.

Beyond exquisite design, innovative mechanisms, and artisanal craftsmanship, Jaeger-LeCoultre enhances the reliability of its mechanical watches with the Master Grande Tradition Calibre 985. The timepiece is equipped with a high-performance cylindrical balance spring, inheriting the brand's profound understanding of balance springs and the tourbillon's effects. The perpetual calendar, moon phase, and tourbillon functions are logically arranged on a modern blue dial version.
