The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health developed and applied a set of 15 quality criteria (version 2.2, on a 5-point scale), based on international standards and the 2023 Medical Examination and Treatment Law. These criteria focus on key areas: personnel, patient records, patient safety, infection control, waste management, technical procedure lists, service pricing, and radiation safety.
Among these, sterilization, infection control, and patient records are strictly enforced. Clinics must demonstrate an 8-step, one-way sterilization process, utilize Class B autoclaves, and maintain sterilization certificates. This requirement highlights the clinics' serious investment in treatment safety and prevention of cross-infection risks.

To ensure detailed, accurate, and fair assessment, the Department established five inspection teams, each comprising five members (primarily specialists from the Department and hospitals). These teams work closely, directly surveying clinics before, during, and after working hours, as well as on saturday. Results are published weekly on the Department of Health's information portal.
Kim Dental's leadership stated that they invest extensively and synchronously in three core areas: orthodontics, cosmetic porcelain crowns, and implant placement. A representative affirmed, "We are committed to providing comprehensive solutions with personalized treatment plans, ensuring optimal, long-term effectiveness."
