Mcredit honored by The Global Economics for 5th consecutive year

Mcredit has received The Global Economics' "Digital Innovation in Vietnam Consumer Finance 2025" award, marking the 5th consecutive year of recognition from the magazine.

The award is part of The Global Economics Awards (TGE), an annual program that honors outstanding organizations in finance, banking, insurance, technology, real estate, and energy. Previously, Mcredit was twice named "Best Consumer Finance Company in Vietnam".

According to the organizers, to achieve the innovation award, businesses must meet strict criteria set by the evaluation council, including: technological capabilities, operational innovation, product and service quality, and growth results. This year, Mcredit scored points thanks to its methodical technology investment strategy and effective practical implementation.

A Mcredit representative said the company has invested in building a digital financial ecosystem, with a series of prominent products and solutions: the Mcredit Mobile App; an automated loan approval system that uses technology to analyze data and make credit decisions quickly, helping customers easily access loans without having to visit a transaction point directly; an electronic contract (e-Contract) solution that optimizes the online loan contract signing process, minimizes paperwork, and enhances security.

Besides that, Mcredit is also one of six credit institutions pioneering the application of national population data in the credit rating process. The company is also expanding cooperation with e-commerce platforms, e-wallets, and the digital financial ecosystem to enhance consumer access to financial services.

"Being continuously honored by TGE is a recognition of the innovation strategy that Mcredit pursues and a motivation for us to continue to expand flexible, modern, and secure financial services," said a company representative.

Mcredit is a joint venture between Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) and SBI Shinsei Bank (Japan), currently serving millions of individual customers, especially those who do not have access to traditional banking. Through digital financial solutions, Mcredit aims to promote financial inclusion, helping people access formal credit, improve their quality of life, and build a sustainable financial future.
