AP Beverage Production and Trading Joint Stock Company (APBev) recently announced its entry into the Vietnamese beverage market. The company currently operates a factory in Sonadezi Giang Dien Industrial Park, Dong Nai.
According to APBev, the project represents a total investment of approximately 80 million USD, equivalent to over 2,000 billion VND. The factory, which focuses on producing non-alcoholic bottled beverages, is now operational. APBev spent three years completing the factory, production system, and product preparation before its official market entry.

APBev enters the beverage industry amidst ongoing shifts in consumer behavior. The "Consumer Trends 2026: Insights from FMCG Retail Data" report, published by NielsenIQ, indicates that 86% of Vietnamese consumers prioritize product quality over quantity, with 92% willing to try new brands. Low-sugar, nutrient-fortified, and health-oriented beverage lines are emerging as key growth drivers for the industry.
An APBev representative stated that the investment decision followed extensive market research and analysis of domestic consumer trends. The company identifies Vietnam as a beverage market with significant growth potential in the region, driven by its large population, improving incomes, and increasingly diverse consumer demands.
Alongside the introduction of its MatTa! beverage brand, APBev aims to establish 500,000 sales points nationwide by 2030 and achieve product presence in five foreign markets. The company plans to expand its domestic distribution network and gradually introduce its products to international markets in the coming years.
