Over 100 game industry experts attend Xsolla Connect 2026

The Xsolla Connect Ho Chi Minh City 2026 event brought together over 100 experts in TP HCM on the evening of 8/5, to discuss connectivity solutions and elevate Vietnamese game products to the international market.

This year marked the second consecutive time Xsolla, a global game commerce platform, partnered with Ocean Entertainment Group (OEG) to host the event. Under the theme "Continuing the connectivity journey - elevating the status of Vietnamese games", the program focused on creating a practical networking space. Here, businesses shared experiences and updated on new technology trends, aiming to connect and elevate Vietnamese game products to the international market.

A key feature of this year's Xsolla Connect was its open discussion format. Rather than theoretical presentations, Xsolla representatives offered direct consultations to individual businesses on specific challenges. Discussions centered on product release processes, optimizing payment solutions, and marketing strategies for competitive markets. This open atmosphere enabled Vietnamese game studios, technology startups, and young developers to find practical answers for their international expansion.

In recent years, Vietnam has emerged as one of Southeast Asia's fastest-growing game markets. Beyond a large gaming community, the maturity of local studios and the creative content industry have drawn significant interest from international businesses. A representative from Xsolla stated, "Xsolla's continuous choice of TP HCM as a destination highlights the appeal and potential of Vietnamese developers in the eyes of international experts."

The event concluded with many potential cooperation agreements between participants. According to the organizers, these direct interactions are crucial for building trust and establishing sustainable relationships. Xsolla, a technology partner behind world-renowned game products such as: Roblox, PUBG Corp, and Epic Games, provides a comprehensive ecosystem of solutions for developers. These include international payments, product distribution, operations, and marketing. With its extensive global network, Xsolla helps studios overcome geographical barriers to reach cross-border users. Through its Connect event series in many countries, the company aims to build a community where businesses can find practical solutions for revenue growth.

As co-organizer, game developer OEG continues to demonstrate a development direction that extends beyond entertainment or esports. The company aims to be an important bridge between the Vietnamese game ecosystem and the global market. The collaboration between a global technology group and an entity with deep understanding of the local market is seen as creating an in-depth discussion space, helping domestic game makers quickly grasp modern operating models.

A representative from the organizing committee shared, "In a rapidly changing industry, real-world connections are essential for businesses to adapt and grow. Xsolla Connect Ho Chi Minh City 2026 fulfilled its mission by creating a solid foundation, helping Vietnamese intelligence confidently assert its global position."
