This advanced system features automatic operation, short imaging times, and the ability to capture images with pupils as small as 2,5 mm, often without requiring dilation. This significantly shortens examination times and enhances convenience for both patients and medical staff.

The iCare DRSplus, a retinal imaging system by iCare, utilizes confocal truecolor LED imaging technology. This allows for high-resolution retinal image capture and aids retina observation in various clinical situations, even when the eye's optical environment is affected by cataracts. Its confocal scanning imaging minimizes scattered light, providing detailed retinal images crucial for doctors to assess lesions, monitor disease progression, and develop effective treatment plans.

Previously, early screening and diagnosis of retinal conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, or glaucoma faced challenges due to technical limitations of older devices. With the iCare DRSplus, the hospital anticipates optimizing its clinical examination and treatment processes, ensuring patients receive efficient and accurate care.
