PVCFC announces new name and strategic direction for next phase

PVCFC marks a strategic shift to a general corporation model on 26/11, signaling a new phase of broader development and professional management.

After nearly 15 years of formation and development, PetroVietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer General Corporation (PVCFC) has built a solid foundation in production, management, and supply chain. The corporation operates a system of factories, a distribution and export network, and established domestic and international management and cooperation mechanisms.

A company representative stated that amid continuous fluctuations in the global fertilizer and agriculture sectors, PVCFC has the "scale, structure, and reputation" to expand operations. This expansion includes mergers and acquisitions (M&A), increasing market share, boosting exports, and developing an agricultural value chain encompassing post-harvest and processing. This strategy also represents a transition towards a regional and international vision, aligning with Vietnam's long-term sustainable development strategy for industry, energy, and agriculture.

At the ceremony, Tran Ngoc Nguyen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PVCFC, shared that over nearly 15 years of formation, construction, and development, from the initial days of factory operation, the company gradually expanded production, product development, distribution systems, and markets, leading to a strong foundation today. He emphasized that the company's foundation is robust enough to expand into related fields, such as post-harvest technology and agricultural product processing. This aims to create added value, diversify industries, and align with sustainable agriculture, industry, and energy trends. The General Corporation will continue to broaden its management approach and upgrade operational methods to meet the requirements of this new development phase.
