PVCFC donates nearly 20 tons of fertilizer to support Dong Thap farmers

PVCFC donates 19.5 tons of NPK Ca Mau Gold 20-10-10 fertilizer to help residents of Phuong Thinh and Truong Xuan communes, Dong Thap, quickly restore agricultural production after natural disasters.

In late October, prolonged heavy rains and high tides breached many dikes in Dong Thap province, causing widespread severe flooding. In Phuong Thinh and Truong Xuan communes, hundreds of hectares of rice and fruit trees were submerged. Many rice fields in their growth stage also suffered heavy damage, directly impacting the livelihoods and production plans of local residents.

In response to this situation, Petrovietnam Ca Mau Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (PVCFC) collaborated with local authorities to implement the "Ca Mau Fertilizer - Sharing Together" program in Dong Thap. This initiative focused on supporting agricultural supplies, with 19.5 tons of NPK Ca Mau Gold 20-10-10 fertilizer directly given to residents of the two communes. This aims to help improve soil after flooding, supplement nutrients for crops, and enable residents to quickly resume production in the coming period.

A company representative stated that timely fertilizer support is important during post-disaster recovery, helping residents reduce immediate difficulties. This activity also contributes to stabilizing production in subsequent seasons, limiting the risk of prolonged damage.

As an enterprise closely associated with agricultural production, Ca Mau Fertilizer always views its development as part of the sustainable development journey for the community and farmers. Through the "Sharing Together" program, the company provides material support and also conveys companionship, sharing, and trust, motivating affected residents to overcome difficulties, gradually restore production, and stabilize their lives long-term.

The support activity in Dong Thap is part of a series of social welfare programs that PVCFC is implementing in many disaster-affected localities recently. The program demonstrates the company's spirit of companionship with Vietnamese farmers, both in production and during difficult times.
