PVCFC's development direction as a corporation

PVCFC focuses on elevating human resource standards and building a high-quality technical and management team, laying the groundwork for its development strategy as a corporation.

Immediately after announcing its transformation into a corporation, Ca Mau Fertilizer (PVCFC) began implementing key tasks for its new phase. The "PVCFC Expert Assessment 2025" program is a foundational step in building a high-quality human resource team, aligning with the corporation's scale and standards. This program identifies professional competencies and shapes the personnel criteria the company aims for.

A company representative stated that the model transformation demands higher quality human resources. Establishing scientific mechanisms for professional assessment, guidance, and development is a top company priority.

This year, the program gathered 20 candidates from 8 specialized fields, spanning from technical, technology, and production to finance, communications, and marketing, showcasing the depth of PVCFC's resources. Accompanying the candidates were 37 judges from leading universities and entities within Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN). The judges were assigned to 8 assessment councils, organized into specialized subcommittees to ensure thoroughness, transparency, and professionalism throughout the process.

In addition, 18 support staff were mobilized, reflecting the company's significant investment in this strategic program, which aims to shape a high-quality human resource team for the corporation's future. The program's focus is to correctly identify outstanding personnel across the organization. Through in-depth interviews and project presentations, candidates had the opportunity to demonstrate their thinking, experience, and problem-solving approaches. Many proposals were highly applicable, showing potential for direct contributions to PVCFC's production management and business operations.

Conversely, the assessment councils provided objective and multifaceted professional feedback. Feedback identified current capabilities and outlined suitable development paths for each individual. This data is crucial for the corporation to develop long-term training, nurturing, and effective utilization strategies for its high-quality workforce.

General Director Van Tien Thanh expressed hope that the program would continue to spread widely, not only within the corporation but also to other units. *Photo: PVCFC*.

According to PVCFC leadership, beyond the assessment process, the program fosters stronger ties between employees and the corporation. When listened to, acknowledged, and given opportunities to demonstrate their abilities, each candidate feels a stronger sense of self-worth within the organization. This cultivates a proactive learning spirit, encouraging individuals to continuously improve their expertise and support the company's long-term goals. The interaction among candidates, councils, and support departments also creates a healthy professional exchange environment, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and building a "united in will, united in strength" spirit for PVCFC on its new journey.

The program is systematically organized, adhering to international standards. *Photo: PVCFC*.

Currently, the company has a team of 6 recognized experts, whose numerous practical projects have contributed hundreds of billions of dong to the business. Entering this new phase, PVCFC's development demands a continuous expansion and diversification of its expert team. Strengthening this team allows the corporation to be more proactive in modernization and critical project implementation, enhancing its competitiveness and adaptability to rapid industry changes.

The "PVCFC Expert Assessment 2025" program demonstrates PVCFC's commitment to systematic investment in its people, who are central to and a decisive factor in sustainable development. The program also serves as a crucial preparation for the company to build a capable workforce, supporting its transformation phase and laying the foundation for achieving corporation-level stature in the near future.
