The AREA 2025, themed "The Vital Shift to a Regenerative Economy", recognizes businesses that adopt sustainable business models and create positive value for the community and ecosystem. Founded in 2011 by Enterprise Asia, the AREA is one of Asia's leading awards, honoring outstanding businesses in sustainable development and corporate social responsibility.
This year, ROX Group received awards in two categories: Corporate Governance (recognizing organizations that build transparent, effective, and responsible operating systems) and Social Empowerment (honoring initiatives that support communities and promote equity and human values).
This is the third time ROX Group has been listed among the AREA winners and the second time this year the group has received an international award, following the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards in May.
Speaking at the event, Tran Xuan Quang, General Director of ROX Group, said, "Every step forward by ROX is not only aimed at growth but also at creating a positive impact on society. This recognition acknowledges our persistent efforts in the journey of sustainable development,".

Transforming to adapt
Amid increasing global competition, ROX Group implemented a comprehensive restructuring in 2023, with sustainable development as its core orientation. The goal is to preserve the company's nearly 30-year legacy while building the stature of an international business.
The group is focusing on governance innovation, developing new products domestically, and expanding into foreign markets. Corporate culture is considered the foundation for maintaining consistency and internal strength. Each year, ROX sets a common theme for the entire system.
The digital transformation strategy is also being promoted through projects such as EDW, CDP, SAP, ERP, Power BI, risk management, and AI application. The entire operational chain is being digitized to optimize efficiency and enhance real-time decision-making. The culture of innovation is also being promoted extensively, integrating closely between departments, aiming for a leading position in digital business administration in Vietnam.
ROX views technology as a support tool, while people are the center, and data is the foundation of all changes.

ROX Share - A CSR platform for the community
Alongside its business activities, ROX Group has developed an ecosystem of community programs called ROX Share, aligned with the goal of "Creating beneficial values for life". This direction stems from the principle of linking business growth with social responsibility.

The group invests in areas that create positive impacts, such as: modern and environmentally friendly industrial parks; large-scale urban areas; and convenient hotel chains nationwide. It has a particular focus on renewable energy through ROX Energy. It is currently operating three solar power plants, helping to reduce more than 453,000 tons of CO2 annually, contributing to Vietnam's green growth and sustainable development goals.
The ROX Share community program ecosystem includes support for education, healthcare, sharing with the disadvantaged, and environmental protection. Through this, the group hopes to spread a positive spirit to every employee, partner, and community where ROX is present.

From 2020 to 2024, ROX Share implemented hundreds of community programs in 40 provinces and cities with a total budget of over 220 billion VND. In 2024, the group supported victims of Typhoon Yagi, organized blood donation drives across the three regions of Vietnam, gave over 3,000 Tet gifts, renovated schools, and provided scholarships to disadvantaged students.
Recognition at international awards demonstrates ROX Group's sustainable development orientation and modern management thinking. The group stated that it will continue to pursue a strategy of creating real value for people, the community, and the environment.
