According to documents from SSI Securities' annual meeting, the company plans to allocate nearly 2,500 billion VND for its 2025 dividend payment. This decision follows a record profit of over 5,000 billion VND achieved last year. By the end of last year, SSI's stock brokerage market share reached 11.5%, a five-year high, securing its position as second in the industry.
To support future growth, the company's Board of Directors (BOD) proposed offering 500 million new shares to existing shareholders at a price of 10,000 VND per share. If successful, this issuance would increase SSI's charter capital to 30,000 billion VND, making it the highest in the securities industry.

Looking ahead, Chairman Nguyen Duy Hung's company has set ambitious business targets for this year. SSI aims for a total operating revenue increase of approximately 20%, reaching 15,660 billion VND. Pre-tax profit is projected to be 5,838 billion VND, an improvement of 15%, which would surpass the record set in 2025. The BOD also seeks authorization to proactively adjust business plans if market growth rates and liquidity do not meet initial assumptions.
SSI's leadership anticipates a dynamic stock market this year, with the VN-Index potentially fluctuating around the 1,800-point mark. Average daily liquidity is forecast at approximately 28,500 billion VND, partly due to ongoing market upgrade efforts. Initial public offering (IPO) activities are also expected to be more robust, as many businesses plan to list on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE).
However, SSI highlighted several potential risks. These include slower credit growth and an upward trend in interest rates, building from the low base of 2025. Additionally, the escalating risk of geopolitical tensions could impact macroeconomic growth and the profitability of listed companies.
Established in 1999, SSI was Vietnam's first securities company. Currently, the company boasts a charter capital exceeding 24,900 billion VND, leading the securities industry.
