The Phu Quoc - Seoul route is expected to increase to two daily flights in the next phase. Flights operate under a full-service model, providing meals, checked baggage, business class, and priority services.
Combined with Phu Quoc's tourism, resort, and entertainment ecosystem, travelers' journeys become comprehensive experiences. Passengers flying with the airline receive complimentary tickets to Sun World Hon Thom cable car until the end of June this year, along with up to 30% discounts on accommodation, dining, spa, and entertainment services in Phu Quoc.

According to a Sun PhuQuoc Airways representative, the Phu Quoc - Seoul route is positioned as a "strategic connection axis". This helps Phu Quoc, known as "Pearl Island", access the Northeast Asian market more deeply and expands connectivity to other regions via one of the region's major aviation hubs. Establishing a direct route broadens the passenger network and increases access to international markets.
On the same day, the airline launched its second luxury Sun Executive Lounge at Phu Quoc International Airport's international terminal. Architect Bill Bensley designed the space with an "aviation academy" concept. The lounge serves a combination of Vietnamese cuisine and international food brands. This lounge investment aims to enhance service quality and integrate cultural elements and identity into the flight experience.
Concurrently, Sun PhuQuoc Airways introduced an in-hotel check-in model, allowing passengers to complete check-in and receive boarding passes at their accommodation. Luggage is received and transported directly to the airport following standard procedures, saving passengers time and allowing them to fully enjoy their vacation before departure.
Initially, the service applies to Sun Group ecosystem hotels: La Festa Phu Quoc - Curio Collection by Hilton and New World Phu Quoc Resort. It also serves guests staying in the Sunset Town and Bai Kem areas. "The combination of the lounge and in-hotel check-in demonstrates our direction to build a seamless ‘fly - vacation’ journey, where the experience extends beyond the flight itself to encompass the entire trip," said a Sun PhuQuoc Airways representative.

A Sun PhuQuoc Airways representative added that the route launch, coupled with a synchronized service system, demonstrates the airline's consistent approach: developing its flight network while upgrading the passenger experience. In an environment of increasing regional competition, these integrated investments are expected to enhance the ability to attract international visitors, gradually positioning Phu Quoc as a new aviation and tourism gateway for Vietnam.
