The Digital Transformation Initiative of the Year - Vietnam award specifically recognizes Techcom Life's distinct technological approach. Instead of digitizing existing operational processes, the company built its foundation on a cloud-native, AI-integrated platform. This innovative approach enables quicker, consistent, and clear experiences throughout the entire insurance contract lifecycle.
Central to this platform is the iProtek digital ecosystem, which supports consultation, underwriting, contract management, and claims processing. Additionally, the AI assistant Tori provides real-time guidance to financial advisors. According to Techcom Life, approximately 85% of bancassurance consultants use Tori daily, while thousands of advisors have transitioned to using paperless consultation tools within two months of deployment.
A company representative stated that AI application helps improve consulting productivity, shorten processing times, standardize operational procedures, and enhance customer experience throughout the insurance contract lifecycle.
In the Domestic Life Insurer of the Year - Vietnam category, Techcom Life was recognized for its overall achievements in building a customer-centric life insurance business. The company applies technology to boost operational efficiency and sustainable development.
According to Techcom Life, since commencing operations less than a year ago, the company has combined technology, data, and human expertise to address long-standing industry challenges. This approach also helps customers make quicker decisions regarding protection, health, and financial well-being.
Mukesh Pilania, Chief Executive Officer of Techcom Life, stated that these international awards acknowledge the company's development direction during its first year of operation. The company will continue investing in technology and AI to simplify the insurance experience and develop solutions that meet the diverse needs of customers.
The Insurance Asia Awards is an annual accolade for the Asia-Pacific insurance industry. It honors companies with initiatives in technology, operational innovation, and enhanced customer experience.
Techcom Life, established by Techcombank, aims to develop life insurance solutions on a technology, data, and AI-first platform, modernizing and increasing transparency for users. With its vision, "Reinventing insurance, empowering future autonomy," the company currently focuses on three essential needs: health protection, financial well-being, and improving quality of life.
