The Aspira project, developed by Sai Gon High Rise, has been awarded Edge green building certification by IFC. This recognition was presented at the Vietnam Sustainable Building Development Forum 2025 on 19/12, highlighting the project's commitment to environmental sustainability and resource efficiency.
Edge is a green building certification system developed by IFC, a member of the World Bank Group. Independently assessed by SGS, this system is applied in over 170 countries. It focuses on three main criteria: energy savings, water savings, and embodied energy in construction materials.

According to assessment results, The Aspira met Edge requirements by optimizing its design and selecting suitable materials and equipment. This approach aims to reduce resource consumption throughout the building's lifecycle. The project's energy, water, and embodied carbon savings all exceeded the minimum 20% threshold set by Edge standards.
A detailed assessment report showed that the embodied carbon in construction materials for both tower A and tower B of the project decreased by over 40% compared to the baseline. This figure significantly surpasses the certification system's basic requirements.
Prior to this, The Aspira project also received recognition at the Dot Property Vietnam Awards 2025. It was honored with the "Best Innovative Condo Development Vietnam 2025" award.

Experts state that Edge-certified projects offer dual benefits for residents. These include reduced operating costs through electricity and water savings, and an improved living environment. This improvement comes via natural ventilation, thermal insulation, and optimized green spaces.
The Aspira is developed with a transit-oriented development (TOD) approach. It is located in the 18,8 ha TOD urban core area in TP HCM, connecting to the extended Metro line one. The project also benefits from major ongoing infrastructure projects like Ring Road 3.

A Sai Gon High Rise representative stated that the company is committed to developing projects with practical use value. They emphasize transparency in construction, material quality, and long-term operational efficiency. According to the company, each project is approached as a synchronous ecosystem, integrated with sustainable urban development. This aims to bring long-term benefits to residents and the community.
Bui Ba Nghiep, General Director of Sai Gon High Rise, stated that The Aspira project's achievement of Edge certification is not just the result of one specific project. It also reflects the company's long-term development strategy in pursuing green building standards.
"This serves as a foundation for us to continue expanding the sustainable development model for future projects, aiming to enhance the quality of living spaces and reduce environmental impact," Nghiep said.
