Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank) announced this weekend the appointment of Nguyen Xuan Thai, born in 2003, as assistant to the Board of Directors (BOD), and Nguyen Ngoc My Anh, born in 2001, as assistant to the General Director. Both are assigned to the bank's Management Office. The appointment decision was signed by Chairman of the Board of Directors Duong Cong Minh and became effective from 4/6.
These two new appointments at Sacombank come as the bank officially changed its name after 35 years of establishment and simultaneously restructured its senior leadership.
Thai holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Massachusetts Boston, US. In late March, he was elected to the Board of Directors of LPBank Securities Joint Stock Company and owns 15% of its capital. Earlier this week, he also assumed the position of Vice Chairman at Sacom Digital Asset Exchange (SCEX).
Nguyen Ngoc My Anh previously served as General Director and legal representative for Thaispace, an air transport company established in late 2021 with a charter capital of nearly 26,700 billion VND. Her position was transferred to another individual just a few months later. She currently chairs the Ninh Binh football club and is reportedly the youngest female chairperson of a team in the V.League.
