This expansion comes as shippers anticipate a significant increase in e-commerce demand during the year-end peak season. The collaboration aims to enhance last-mile delivery operations by leveraging Uber Freight's technology, operational capabilities, and extensive network alongside Better Trucks' expertise.
Rebecca Tinucci, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Uber Freight, stated, "This strategic investment allows us to immediately upgrade our delivery solutions for customers." She noted Better Trucks' strong track record in providing technology-driven solutions and its expanding network, which enables Uber Freight to offer superior speed and flexibility.
