Saigon Co.op, a leading domestic retailer, announced ambitious plans for 2026 at its annual activity review and 2026 orientation conference on 17/3 in TP HCM. Following a strong 2025 with revenue exceeding 32 trillion VND and double-digit online sales growth, the cooperative aims to further expand its network of over 800 stores and supermarkets nationwide.
As one of Vietnam's largest domestic retailers, Saigon Co.op holds significant market share in modern retail, particularly in the supermarket and convenience store segments. The company's long-standing strategy focuses on promoting Vietnamese goods, with domestic products typically making up 80-90% of inventory at many locations. It actively participates in market stabilization programs and facilitates the consumption of local products.

He urged Saigon Co.op to strive for double-digit retail revenue growth this year, acknowledging its core role in the distribution system, market stabilization, network expansion, and service quality improvement.
Looking to the long term, Saigon Co.op plans to establish five consumer cooperatives, each designed to have over one million members. This initiative aims to position the cooperative among the 300 largest globally, fostering a connected consumer community and developing a robust member ecosystem.
