Richard Hall, Chairman of the Global Dairy Congress and World Dairy Innovation Awards, highlighted the significance of Vinamilk's achievement. He noted that winning five awards in a single period is a first for the event. According to Hall, this result reflects Vinamilk's strategic shift from meeting basic nutritional needs to developing large-scale, value-added solutions. This recognition is particularly notable given that the World Dairy Innovation Awards gathers leading dairy brands and corporations from Europe, North America, and Oceania.
Ananda Roy, Senior Vice President of Research and Strategic Consulting for Europe at Circana and a member of the World Dairy Innovation Awards 2026 judging panel, echoed this sentiment. He emphasized that Vinamilk's distinction extends beyond product quality and the scientific foundation behind its nutritional solutions. Roy stated, "Vinamilk also demonstrates the ability to build brands, design packaging, and convey appropriate messages to diverse customer groups." He believes that as consumer experience, brand value, and relevance to individual needs gain importance, these factors will define the competitive edge for food and beverage companies in the global market.

A Vinamilk representative explained that the nominated and winning products at this year's awards also indicate global dairy industry trends. While families previously focused on ensuring sufficient nutrition for children, consumers today seek solutions tailored to their age, physical condition, lifestyle, and health goals. The dairy industry is moving from a mass-market approach to personalization, evident in products containing A2 protein, specialized nutrition, age-specific offerings, and innovations in consumer experience and packaging design. The value of a product now lies not only in its formula but also in its ability to meet consumers' diverse and evolving needs.

Nguyen Quang Tri, Vinamilk's Marketing Executive Director, stated that each stage of social development presents new demands for the nutrition industry. He believes the goal is not to develop numerous products, but to create relevant solutions that provide practical value to consumers at every life stage.
The awards at the World Dairy Innovation Awards 2026 are the culmination of Vinamilk's nearly 50-year development journey. From its early days, focused on improving access to nutrition for Vietnamese people, particularly children, the company gradually expanded its product portfolio in response to changing market demands. This journey saw Vinamilk evolve from providing basic nutritional products to developing specialized nutritional solutions for various consumer groups, paralleling the rising quality of life and diverse healthcare needs of the population.
