Female student attends exam in ambulance after appendectomy

A 9th-grade student attended her 10th-grade entrance exam in an ambulance following an appendectomy.

On the morning of 5/6, Thanh Hoa Children's Hospital dispatched one doctor and two nurses to accompany a student to her exam at Nguyen Quan Nho High School in Thieu Quang commune, located over 20 km from the hospital.

She had been admitted for emergency care with acute appendicitis leading to peritonitis and underwent prompt surgery.

Her health improved significantly after the operation. Fulfilling the family's and student's wishes, hospital leadership decided to provide comprehensive support for her well-being during the exams. This included a dedicated ambulance, medical staff, and essential medical equipment, all prepared to address any potential emergency.
