During a working session, FPT Group leaders proposed developing an FPT Education Complex. This complex will include lecture halls, dormitories, a multi-purpose service building, sports fields, and auxiliary infrastructure. It will accommodate over 6,000 students, offering training from primary, secondary, vocational college to university levels. FPT expects the complex to improve local human resource quality and enable Dien Bien students to access a modern learning environment.
Nguyen Van Doat, a provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of Dien Bien People's Committee, stated that improving human resource quality is a breakthrough solution for the locality's rapid and sustainable development. Recently, the province collaborated with FPT Group to research, propose, and implement the FPT Education Complex project, based on a multi-level, multi-disciplinary training model.
The two sides have agreed on the investment location and are finalizing necessary procedures to implement the project on schedule. He expressed hope that the Education Complex project will become a core driver for digital education and digital transformation in the province's education sector.

Nguyen Van Khoa, General Director of FPT Group, shared that the company is committed to "doing what other businesses have not," especially in education and high-quality human resource training. FPT hopes to soon begin implementing the agreed cooperation contents.
According to him, the group identifies Dien Bien as a cradle for local human resource training, attracting students from many other provinces and cities to study, thereby forming a new workforce for the region. FPT focuses on training high-quality, specialized personnel, prioritizing four new technology fields: semiconductors, cybersecurity, drones, and other advanced technology fields.
The General Director of FPT further noted that to achieve double-digit economic growth, the knowledge economy plays a crucial role. Training requires a methodical, continuous roadmap from general education to university and postgraduate levels.

Additionally, FPT commits to working with the province to build an innovation center, attract scientists, and form research and development groups for technology products. This initiative aims to participate in the national strategic technology list and global supply chains, with Japan and South Korea as key partners. In the coming period, the group expects to invite a delegation of about 20 Japanese businesses to Dien Bien to survey cooperation opportunities.
Concurrently, the company proposes to partner with the province in developing and implementing a digital transformation strategy and roadmap with a vision to 2030, based on three pillars: digital government, digital economy, and digital society. The goal is to help Dien Bien become a province developing towards a green, smart, sustainable economy; a tourism hub for the region; and a moderately developed province in the area.

In the process of partnering with Dien Bien for digital transformation, FPT has defined a roadmap divided into three phases: building a foundation and raising awareness, accelerating and optimizing, and developing and innovating. The company will develop data infrastructure and smart operations, digitize historical heritage, apply geographic information system (GIS) in agriculture-forestry, implement digital health solutions, and analyze data in traffic management, public services, education, and environment-urban operations.
Specifically in the field of innovation, FPT collaborates with the Dien Bien Department of Science and Technology to research and test drone technology for transporting goods to remote areas, while also researching resources and materials to develop related products.
According to Nguyen Van Khoa, regarding digital transformation and data infrastructure, the group's leadership emphasizes the requirement for data to be "correct, sufficient, clean, and live." Simultaneously, the company commits, in its role as a corporate partner with the Government, to advise Dien Bien on implementing information and data systems to ensure they are fast, accurate, efficient, avoid waste, and comply with legal regulations.
Concluding the meeting, Le Van Luong, Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Dien Bien People's Committee, affirmed that Dien Bien aims to restructure its economy, with science, technology, and digital transformation as drivers, and public investment playing a leading role in creating widespread impact. He also proposed developing a comprehensive, in-depth, and continuous cooperation plan, and suggested that the Department of Education and Training, Department of Finance, and the Office of the People's Committee collaborate with FPT Group during the cooperation implementation process.
