FPT University has announced a significant tuition reduction policy, offering 30% to 50% off full tuition for students from disadvantaged areas. This initiative aims to expand access to quality higher education and reduce financial barriers. The policy applies to students classified under Area 1, as per regulations from the Ministry of Education and Training. Additionally, the university implements regional tuition support programs to broaden educational opportunities. Students enrolling at the Da Nang and Can Tho campuses will receive a 30% reduction in full tuition, while the support level at the Quy Nhon campus is a 50% tuition reduction.

If a candidate qualifies for both Area 1 and regional support policies, these policies will be applied concurrently. This approach makes tuition costs more comparable to the national average for higher education, while FPT University's training standards and educational environment are maintained.
Dr. Nguyen Khac Thanh, Rector of FPT University, highlighted the significant potential and aspirations of many students from disadvantaged regions. However, he noted that access to quality higher education remains limited for them.
"Through this tuition support policy, FPT University aims to open the doors of higher education for these students," Dr. Thanh emphasized. "It also contributes to training young human resources with technological capabilities and a global mindset for the development of local communities and Vietnam's digital economy."

FPT University's tuition support policy also aligns with the government's strategic direction in developing high-quality human resources and promoting higher education in areas facing difficulties.
