Math exam for 2026 high school graduation

The 2026 high school graduation math exam comprises 22 questions, including 4 true/false items and 6 short-answer questions.

Approximately 1.2 million candidates completed the math exam at 4 PM on 11/6, concluding the first day of the 2026 high school graduation exam.

The exam questions are as follows:

Last year, during the inaugural high school graduation exam under the new general education program, math scores showed strong differentiation. The average score achieved by over 1.12 million candidates was 4,78, a significant decrease from the 6,45 recorded in 2024. A total of 513 candidates attained a perfect score of 10, with the highest concentrations observed in Hanoi, Hai Phong, and TP HCM.

Following the math and literature exams, candidates will take two elective exams tomorrow to conclude the examination period. Elective subjects include: Foreign language, chemistry, physics, biology, history, geography, economic and legal education, informatics, and technology.

The 2026 high school graduation exam scores will be announced on the morning of 1/7. Students will commence registering and adjusting their university admission preferences immediately thereafter, with the deadline set for 5 PM on 14/7.
