The event, organized by the Green Future Foundation (part of Vingroup Corporation) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training, took place on the morning of 7/3 in Hanoi. The ceremony was attended by 300 outstanding participants and nearly 100 representatives from schools nationwide.

After three months, the competition received nearly 41,000 entries from 1,765 primary and secondary schools across 34 provinces and cities. This volume demonstrates widespread student engagement with environmental and sustainable development topics. Season 2 featured a total prize value of up to 2.5 billion VND. The 300 excellent works were displayed at an exhibition during the closing and awards ceremony. Their creators received certificates from the Ministry of Education and Training, along with special prizes and incentives from sponsors.
Additionally, 15 schools with a notable number and quality of entries received team awards. Each award was valued at 25 million VND and included certificates acknowledging contributions to the "green" movement in schools. Awards were presented across primary and secondary categories.

In the primary category, the three first-prize winners were Vu Phuong Trang (Phu Tho) for letter writing, Vu Minh Khoi (Hanoi) for drawing, and Hoang Tuan Anh (Quang Ninh) for video. In the secondary category, the three first-prize winners were Mai Nguyen Ngan Khanh (Thanh Hoa) for letter writing, Nguyen Ha Chi (Hanoi) for drawing, and Dang Dinh Tue Minh (Hanoi) for video.
According to the organizers, the first-prize winning entries impressed with their creative perspectives. They showcased students' serious research and thought on environmental issues and climate change. Through emotional letters, videos with invested visuals and effects, and meticulous, delicate drawings, participants depicted diverse perspectives on a "green future".
Many entries were highly praised for their ideas. These included the "Global Green Treaty", which called for eliminating fossil fuels. Another notable entry was the "Green Journey Diorama" model. This model compared the current environmental situation with the Net Zero 2050 vision to propose solutions for energy, education, and sustainable lifestyles.

The organizers also stated that the participation of excellent schools from 34 provinces and cities nationwide demonstrates the competition's influence in making sustainable development goals a core educational content. These included secondary schools such as Thoi Long, Hiep Phuoc, Le Anh Xuan, Nguyen Thi Huong, and primary schools like Vinschool Times City, Tan Hiep, Giao Thinh. These schools are located in Can Tho, Dong Thap, Ninh Binh, Dong Nai, TP HCM, and Hanoi.
Evaluating season 2 of the "Send a Green Future 2050" competition, Dr. Le Thai Ha, Executive Director of the Green Future Foundation, stated that this season continued to build on the journey of nurturing environmental thinking and responsibility among Vietnam's youth. While the first season focused on raising awareness, the second encouraged students to view environmental issues from a systemic perspective and propose concrete solutions for the future. The "Send a Green Future 2050" competition aims to be a meaningful educational platform, fostering environmental awareness and action among young generations.
