Approximately 254,000 candidates registered for the chemistry subject in the 2026 high school graduation exam, an increase of about 7,000 students compared to last year.
Last year, the average score for the chemistry high school graduation exam was 6,06. Across the country, 625 candidates achieved a perfect score. Around 70,900 students, equivalent to 29,5%, scored below average. The most frequently achieved score among candidates was 6,25.
The 2026 high school graduation exam took place on 11-12/6, involving over 1,22 million candidates, the highest number recorded to date. Candidates completed the two compulsory subjects, mathematics and literature, yesterday, concluding the exam with two optional subjects this morning.
Scores for the high school graduation exam will be announced on 1/7. Candidates can begin registering and adjusting their university admission aspirations from 2/7 until 17:00 on 14/7.
