The 2026 high school graduation exam took place on 11-12/6, involving a record 1,22 million candidates. On 11/6, candidates completed the 2 compulsory subjects: literature and mathematics.
Physics is one of 9 elective subjects, alongside foreign language, chemistry, informatics, biology, history, geography, economic and legal education, and technology. The physics exam was held on the morning of 12/6.
In 2025, nearly 350,000 candidates nationwide took the physics exam. The average score was 6,99, with a median score of 7. Notably, over 3,900 students achieved perfect scores, a significant increase compared to 55 students in 2024.
Candidates will receive their graduation exam scores on 1/7. Following this, they will have 5 days to request a score review. University admission applications and adjustments to preferences can be made from 2/7 until 17h on 14/7. Final university admission results will be announced after 17h on 9/8.
