Ton Duc Thang University's two types of benchmark scores

Ton Duc Thang University's composite admission scores range from 50 to 79,7/100 points, with digital art having the highest.

On the afternoon of 10/8, Ton Duc Thang University (TDU) announced its benchmark scores for the composite admission method and the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City competency assessment scores.

For the composite method, digital art, specializing in digital media design, had the highest entry score at 79,7/100 points. Several majors scored above 70 points, including control and automation engineering, English language, Chinese language, tourism, international relations, business administration, human resource management, and marketing.

The lowest benchmark score was 50 points for transport civil engineering, sports management, environmental engineering, and civil engineering (advanced program).

For admissions based on the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City competency assessment scores, environmental engineering, environmental science, sports management, and civil engineering (advanced program) had the lowest scores at 600/1200 points.

Control and automation engineering had the highest entry score at 921/1200 points. Marketing, international business, and English language also required over 900 points.

This year, the university aims to enroll more than 7,000 students using two main methods: composite admission (method one) and the competency assessment scores organized by Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (method two). The composite admission method considers high school graduation exam scores, academic transcripts, and other achievements, with a 100-point scale.

For each major, the university specifies a primary subject combination to determine the benchmark score. Other combinations will have their scores converted based on the difference from the primary combination within the same major.

For the 2026 intake, the projected annual tuition fee for Ton Duc Thang University's standard programs averages 31-68 million VND, with pharmacy being the highest. Advanced programs are approximately 55-64 million VND, and English-taught programs are 78-88 million VND.

Last year, Ton Duc Thang University's benchmark scores ranged from 22 to 34,5/40.
