It's unclear when Zahara and Cooper's relationship began. On the evening of 10/6, paparazzi spotted her in his car in California. At that time, Zahara drew attention with a diamond ring on her left ring finger, typically the location for a wedding ring, sparking engagement rumors. However, her hand was bare during their recent Disneyland outing.
Born in 2005 in Ethiopia, Zahara was adopted by Angelina Jolie when she was seven months old, according to People. A year later, Brad Pitt, who was dating Jolie at the time, also adopted her, giving her the surname Jolie-Pitt. The mother and daughter have frequently returned to Africa to visit Zahara's birthplace and honor her heritage. Zahara is interested in jewelry design and has her own product line. She is also encouraged by her mother to participate in humanitarian activities.
Zahara started college in 2022 and has been actively involved in campus activities. In March, she and her mother attended a gala in Montgomery, where Zahara delivered a speech about the lack of access to proper sanitation and menstrual health education for many women and girls.
In an interview with People, Jolie shared that Zahara and her five siblings often volunteer together. In January, the Jolie family joined forces to support families affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles.

In November 2023, at an AKA event, she introduced herself as Zahara Marley Jolie, dropping the surname Jolie-Pitt. She is the first of the children to publicly change her name since her parents' separation.
