The event took place at the stage of the Statue of "To the Fatherland, We Are Determined to Die", organized by Hanoi City Police in collaboration with the Hanoi Drama Theater and the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet. It commemorated the 81st anniversary of Vietnam People's Public Security Tradition Day (19/8/1945 - 19/8/2026) and the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (2/9/1945 - 2/9/2026).

Before the live broadcast, the Hanoi City Police Honor Guard and the People's Public Security Honor Guard performed musical pieces: "19 thang 8" by musician Xuan Oanh, "Hanh khuc Cong an nhan dan" by musician Trong Bang, and "Hanh khuc thang loi" by musician Dinh Ngoc Lien, creating a heroic atmosphere.

The image of King Ly Thai To moving the capital from Hoa Lu to Dai La appeared in the performance "Thang Long Viet Nam bay len" by musician Ho Trong Tuan, opening the first chapter. The song praised the cultural traditions, history, and aspirations of Thang Long - Hanoi.

The program consisted of three parts: "Dong chay binh yen", "Giu binh yen thu do", and "Binh yen trong ky nguyen moi". It recounted historical stories, paid tribute to previous generations, honored the achievements of the capital police force, and highlighted their ongoing contributions in the new era.

From the ancient imperial city, the image of a modern, integrated Hanoi that continues to promote national cultural identity was conveyed through Ha Myo's work "Xam bon mua hoa Ha Noi". The song combined folk art with rap and EDM, showcasing the creativity of young people in retelling traditional material.

The program's highlight was three short plays, re-enacting a series of shocking cases and events, directed by People's Artist Trung Hieu and performed by actors from the Hanoi Drama Theater.

One of these, the play "Dau tri", addressed the transnational foreign exchange investment and money laundering fraud ring Mr Pips, which was dismantled by the Hanoi City Police. The play not only depicted a major case but also revealed a new front in the fight against crime, where police officers must investigate digital footprints in cyberspace.

The play "Lan ranh cong ly" drew material from a case at the Central Institute of Forensic Psychiatry. Criminals transformed a compulsory mental health treatment facility into a "marketplace", falsifying medical records and influencing psychiatric evaluation conclusions to help many individuals evade criminal responsibility.

The atmosphere grew somber with stories of firefighters sacrificing their lives while on duty, depicted in the play "Phia sau binh yen". Some left behind young children, others passed away in their prime. Despite facing danger, firefighters are always ready to rush into blazing fires to save people.

Musical performances were arranged after each play, enhancing the audience's emotions.

Singer Hoang Hong Ngoc (center) and a female choir performed the song "Cong an thu do vi binh yen cuoc song" – the soundtrack from "Tuong lua Trang An" – honoring those who protect people's lives day and night.

Singer Duong Hoang Yen conveyed national pride through the work "To Quoc trong anh mat troi" by Long Ca.

From 19h, audiences of all ages gathered at the Hoan Kiem Lake pedestrian street to watch the program. Organizers prepared thousands of chairs and LED screens, allowing people far from the stage area to follow the event.

The program concluded with the musical piece "Noi vong tay lon" by musician Trinh Cong Son.

Before the evening art show, from the afternoon of 15/8, many activities took place around Ho Guom, including a mobile photo exhibition, interaction with the People's Public Security Cavalry, and a performance by the People's Public Security Military Band.
