Diep Bao Ngoc harvests fruit from her rooftop garden

Actress Diep Bao Ngoc grows guava, lemons, and apples, yielding fruit year-round in her rooftop garden at her home in TP HCM.

Actress Diep Bao Ngoc calls her garden a sanctuary, finding calm and relaxation there. She transformed the approximately 50 m2 area into a diverse orchard with plants such as: papaya, chocolate persimmon, yellow lemons, and hog plums. This provides her family with fresh produce to enhance their meals.

Diep Bao Ngoc enjoys personally tending to each plant, which allows her to promptly identify pests and diseases. She typically purchases quality saplings from nurseries, then regularly fertilizes and waters them.

Many plants bear abundant fruit, emitting distinct aromas that make her "happy just to look at and smell them". Occasionally, when she returns from distant film shoots to visit her garden, she is surprised to find sapodilla and apples in bloom and bearing fruit. The actress mentions that her son, Kid, and other family members enjoy the garden's fruit and are always eager to harvest it themselves.

With her son now 13 years old, Diep Bao Ngoc shares that she has more time for herself. Besides gardening, she exercises daily with gym or boxing, and studies foreign languages. While she primarily focuses on business activities now, acting remains a significant source of spiritual support. After periods of sales pressure, she sometimes experiences stress, needing to pause for about three or four months to return to her passion for filmmaking. "I love the feeling of being in front of the camera, living out every emotion with the character", she states.

Diep Bao Ngoc, 33, won first prize at the 2011 Women of the Era Beauty Contest. In the 2010s, she gained fame on the small screen through films such as "Suc Nang Tinh Tham", "Giong To Cuoc Doi", "Minh Cuoi That Em Nhe", "Noi Dau Cua Hanh Phuc", "Ai My Nhan", and "Muon Mat Cuoc Doi". Diep Bao Ngoc was married to actor Thanh Dat, with whom she has one son, divorcing after three years.

In recent years, she has attracted attention with several high-grossing film projects, including "Lat Mat 6" (directed by Ly Hai), and "Lam Giau Voi Ma Part 1 and 2" (directed by Nhat Trung). In april, "Phi Phong" – a horror film she starred in alongside Kieu Minh Tuan – became a box office hit, earning over 200 billion VND.
