Nicholas Tse stated that, besides pho and spring rolls, banh mi—a dish made from baguette, meat, and various accompanying vegetables—has a distinctive and delicious taste. His favorite shop in Hong Kong is Banh Mi Nem in the Wan Chai district.
To introduce the dish to his fans, he filmed the staff preparing the sandwiches, describing the fillings, such as: pork belly, fresh herbs, pickled daikon, sauce, cucumber, and fried shallots. "Because the owner is Vietnamese, the flavor is very authentic," Nicholas Tse commented.

When the staff delivered the sandwich, the actor was eager, saying he could not wait to enjoy it because the dish is more appealing when eaten hot. "The pork belly filling is incredibly delicious," the actor exclaimed. He noted that the pickled vegetables had a perfectly balanced sweet and sour taste, stimulating the palate.
Tse's video received over 200,000 likes, 10,000 shares, and thousands of comments. Viewers wrote: "Watching you eat makes me so hungry," "How do you eat so much and not get fat?", "It is truly delicious."
Beyond his acting and singing career, Tse is also a chef and food blogger. On his personal page, he often showcases regional delicacies, including Vietnamese fried spring rolls and pho. Having eaten pho in many places, Nicholas Tse can discern which restaurants offer a flavor close to the authentic Vietnamese taste. He was particularly impressed by the sweet and sour dipping sauce for fried spring rolls.
He entered the entertainment industry at 15 years old, possesses songwriting skills, and has won multiple "Most Popular Male Singer of the Year" awards in the Chinese music scene. Tse is also known for films such as "Invisible Target", "The Bullet Vanishes", "The Promise", "Shaolin", "New Police Story", and "The Storm Riders 2".
