Singers Dong Hung and Hong Ngoc respectively sang "Vietnamese Bamboo" (Ta Quang Thang) and "Lotus" (Hoang Hong Ngoc) - pieces containing familiar cultural images and praising the steadfast character of the Vietnamese people.
