On 29/12, Forbes announced Beyonce as the fifth vocalist to join the ranks of billionaires, following her husband, rapper Jay-Z, singer Taylor Swift, legendary artist Bruce Springsteen, and Rihanna.
This achievement marks the culmination of over 20 years dedicated to the music industry. In recent years, she has achieved significant success, further cementing her reputation. In 2023, she earned nearly 600 million USD from her Renaissance World Tour. A year later, she released the country album Cowboy Carter and organized an international tour to promote the record.

According to Variety, the Cowboy Carter Tour is projected to be the highest-grossing concert series of 2025, generating over 400 million USD. Beyond ticket sales, she earned an additional 50 million USD from merchandise. Parkwood Entertainment, her own company, directly produced the tour, ensuring Beyonce a larger share of the profits. Combining earnings from her shows, music catalog, and sponsorship deals this year, Forbes estimates she earned an additional 148 million USD before taxes. Consequently, she is currently the highest-earning singer in the world.
Born in 1981, Beyonce stands as one of the world's most successful artists, having sold over 100 million records globally. Throughout her career, the singer has garnered numerous accolades, including Grammy, Billboard, MTV, and American Music Awards. Forbes recognized her twice as the most powerful woman in entertainment, in 2015 and 2017. She also holds the record for the most Grammy Awards, with 35 trophies, accumulated from her time in Destiny's Child and The Carters (with Jay-Z).
Since 2010, the artist has built a business empire by establishing Parkwood Entertainment, an entertainment company. This enterprise manages her career, producing all of her music projects, documentaries, and concerts. The company also fronts most production costs to maximize profits.
Beyond tour revenues, the magazine notes Beyonce has other major income streams. These include a 60 million USD deal with Netflix to produce the documentary Homecoming: A Film by Beyonce (2019). Additionally, she reportedly received 50 million USD for her halftime performance at the NFL national football game during Christmas 2024. Netflix also broadcast this stage performance. In 2023, Beyonce produced a concert film for the Renaissance World Tour, securing nearly half of the total 44 million USD in global ticket sales.
Not limiting herself to entertainment, Beyonce has ventured into the merchandise business. She currently owns several brands, including a haircare line and a liquor label.
