Hue is one of three locations hosting the program, alongside Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The performances showcase the city's heroic history, intertwined with the nation's transformative moments. A highlight is the cannon fire display at the Ky Dai (Flag Tower in Hue Citadel).
Director Duong Quang Minh, in charge of the Hue stage, said, "A previous performance encountered an incident where embers fell on the audience. We've addressed this by inspecting the equipment, learning from the experience to adjust the firing direction and method. The crew will only utilize muzzle flash effects to ensure safety. Additionally, the organizers have invested in rehearsals and dress rehearsals to ensure a smooth performance." Eight cannons are currently located at the Ky Dai.

The Hanoi event takes place at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, under the direction of Pham Hoang Giang. He has designed performances evoking the August Revolution and the moment the Declaration of Independence was born. The crew will also reenact the changing of the guard ceremony. The director has chosen not to use sound effects, allowing the audience to experience the solemn atmosphere.
The Ho Chi Minh City performance will take place in the open space of the Creative Park. As the final songs are sung, surrounding buildings will illuminate, creating a special effect around the main stage. The organizers have also designed some aerial performances, but details remain undisclosed.
General director Pham Hoang Nam stated that the programs at the three locations are interconnected, forming a unified whole. In some songs, artists from all three regions will sing together. Beyond music, the crew aims to evoke emotions through historical documents and eyewitness accounts.
The program brings together over 1,000 singers, dancers, and musicians. Participating vocalists include artists Ta Minh Tam, Vu Thang Loi, Khanh Linh, Duong Hoang Yen, and Kieu Anh. The art show is directed by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army and produced by the Military Radio - Television Center, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, 2/9.
