According to USA Today, the incident occurred after the rapper left a courtroom in Alhambra on 2/9. In a video, an irritated Cardi B demanded the man asking the question not to be disrespectful. As the artist prepared to enter her vehicle, the man said he "still loved her even after being hit with an object."
Cardi B replied, "I don't care. You're being extremely rude. Do you see any other women being asked these types of questions? As a man, why do you feel entitled to ask me such things? Be respectful. I think your mother taught you to respect women."
Once in the car, the rapper rolled down the window to tell reporters they wouldn't see her publicly outside the courthouse again because of the man's behavior. "I'm not joking. I used to be nice, but no one can tolerate this anymore," she declared.
