Chae Rim explained that she and Gao Ziqi maintain a cordial relationship for Min Woo's benefit. She has discussed their divorce with her son, assuring him that it's normal for parents to move on. She wouldn't object to Gao Ziqi introducing a new partner to Min Woo, as long as the adults don't cause him any emotional distress.

For Min Woo's sake, Chae Rim is putting aside past hurts to fulfill her role as both mother and father. She's currently teaching him Chinese to facilitate communication with his father. The actress is content with her life as a single mother and doesn't wish to change her current situation.
