According to Vogue, the wedding took place over Labor Day weekend on 1/9, at an undisclosed location. Both brides wore Louis Vuitton gowns, though in different colors. On Instagram, Moretz thanked the brand's creative director, Nicolas Ghesquiere, for helping create a wedding that was "beyond words."

Moretz explained her decision to forgo a traditional white dress. "I've never had the fantasy of the big white dress," she said. "So, when we started discussing what we wanted the aesthetic to be, I knew I wanted it to feel different. I knew I wanted it to feel untraditional."

Moretz and Harrison began dating in 2018 but kept their relationship private. That same year, they were photographed kissing in public, but they did not confirm their relationship or sexual orientation. In 11/2024, Moretz publicly came out as part of an Instagram post supporting Kamala Harris's presidential campaign. Earlier this year, the couple announced their engagement with a photo of their matching rings. According to Vogue, Moretz proposed.
