The album is a project Dat G has been developing for the past two years. "Releasing this album on my wedding day makes me happy to mark a new chapter in both my life and music," the rapper said.
The song titles reflect their lyrical content. "Ke An Vo, Nguoi Duoc Oc" (The Shell Eater, The Oyster Keeper) tells the story of Dat G falling for Cindy Lu and embracing her two children, ignoring outside gossip. The remaining five tracks, "That Bai Mang Anh Den Day" (Failure Brought Me Here), "Con Gai Ba" (Daddy's Girl), "Thien Than Oi" (Oh, Angel), "1 Bang 2" (1 Equals 2), and "Ca Mot Gia Tai" (A Fortune), draw inspiration from his journey of overcoming challenges and protecting his love. "These melodies and lyrics are not just for me, but for my family," he shared.
