To mark nearly 10 years in the fashion industry, Quynh Anh is launching the "Her-itage" project, which includes a mini fashion show and exhibition in Hue from 20/9 to 29/9. The name, a combination of "Her" (representing women) and "Heritage," reflects the image of the modern woman connected to her cultural roots.

For this collection, the designer collaborated with artisan Phung Thi Vui from the Quat Dong craft village to create wedding dresses embroidered in the royal style, incorporating the "Carve-Inlay-Cut" sculpting philosophy. "Carve" represents removing excess, "Inlay" adds new elements, and "Cut" creates depth and layers within the designs. In addition to traditional Vietnamese embroidery, the designs also utilize international techniques such as tambour embroidery, Japanese 3D floral embroidery, and laser cutting technology.
On the afternoon of 20/9, the collection will debut on a royal boat with about 50 guests, including several celebrities. Afterward, guests will enjoy Hue royal cuisine.

To provide the public with a deeper understanding of traditional embroidery, the designer will hold an exhibition at the Diem Phung Thi Art Center from 21/9 to 29/9. Among the exhibited pieces, Nguyen Quynh Anh will highlight the "Six-Layered Cut Specimen"—a dress deconstructed into six layers, each representing a renowned embroidery village in the North Central Coast region, from the dragon robe embroidery of Dong Cuu to the painting embroidery of Quat Dong. The piece can be viewed from different perspectives: as individual fragments or as a complete whole.
Quynh Anh (full name Nguyen Quynh Anh), 33, is from Hanoi. She founded her high-end wedding dress brand in 2016. Her designs focus on traditional handcrafting techniques.
