Do My Linh supports husband's business ventures

Do My Linh has stepped back from showbiz to support her husband and his family's businesses.

Do My Linh participated in the company's event earlier this year with her husband (center) and father-in-law, businessman Do Quang Hien (right).

On 22/8, Do My Linh, her husband, businessman Do Vinh Quang (right), and family members welcomed the King of Bhutan Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema (left).

The beauty queen wore a traditional ao dai, drawing attention for both her appearance and role at the meeting. Earlier this year, Do My Linh became vice president of a company within her husband's family's corporation.

Previously, Do My Linh often accompanied her husband to tournaments involving Hanoi FC, where Vinh Quang serves as president. In the photo, the beauty queen celebrates Hanoi FC's third-place finish in V-League in 7/2024.

My Linh's family attended a company event in Tay Ninh in mid-August. She and the company's staff spent a month planning and preparing for the program.

Do My Linh has returned to work after focusing on her family. She has chosen a path toward becoming a businesswoman rather than continuing in entertainment. Previously, she was a sought-after figure at showbiz events and worked as an editor at a television station.

Do My Linh and her husband attended a real estate event in mid-August.

In addition to supporting her husband's business, she wants to learn from his experience. At the company, Do My Linh often calls Vinh Quang "boss" to maintain a professional atmosphere.

"When I first started working, I was a bit lost, so I often received guidance from my husband. He encouraged me to be ambitious and to keep learning. When facing difficulties, we discuss them to find solutions. Living together for the past three years has helped us understand each other, making communication much faster," she said.

She often sits in the front row in her new role. The beauty queen's two-year-old daughter, Tue An, also often accompanies her mother to events.

According to My Linh, after almost a year of working at the company, she has honed her communication, leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. She also now understands the pressures her husband has faced.

Do My Linh says she feels fortunate that her family members trust and encourage her involvement in the business.

"My mother-in-law is a woman who is always devoted to her children and grandchildren. She understands my busy schedule and is willing to help take care of my daughter and manage the household. Thanks to their support, I can focus on developing my career," she said.

Currently, My Linh hopes to perform her duties well and achieve success in her work to share the burden with her husband. She wants him to have more time for himself and to enjoy his favorite sports like golf, soccer, and pickleball.

Emotionally, Do My Linh says she tries to be a source of support and create a cheerful atmosphere to welcome her husband home after a day at work.

Do My Linh, 29, from Hanoi, was crowned Miss Vietnam 2016. At Miss World 2017, she won the Beauty with a Purpose title and placed in the top 40. Before getting married, she worked as a fashion model, MC, and television editor.

Her husband, one year older than her, is the second son of businessman Do Quang Hien. They dated for two years after being introduced by a friend and held their wedding in Hanoi in 10/2022. Do Vinh Quang is currently the vice chairman of the Board of Directors and deputy general director of T&T Group.
