Doctor Dinh Y Quyen, a woman of H're ethnicity, wins Miss Grand Vietnam runner-up title

Dinh Y Quyen, 29, a doctor of H're ethnicity, captured attention with her modern beauty at Miss Grand Vietnam 2025.

Dinh Y Quyen won the 4th runner-up title at the final on 14/9. During the two-month competition, judges praised her well-proportioned figure and confidence in various challenges.

Dinh Y Quyen wore a brocade outfit, a familiar fabric of the H're people in Gia Lai, at the casting round in early August. She expressed pride in being born and raised in the Central Highlands.

"Since I was young, I've understood the importance of pursuing knowledge as a foundation for success," she said.

The runner-up catwalks in the Fashion Beauty segment on 30/8 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Dinh Y Quyen performed "Swallow Dance" by young composer Nguyen Ngoc Quynh Mai, inspired by the swallow farming village of Vinh Hoa, Khanh Hoa, during the National Costume competition.

She is 1.72 m tall with measurements of 88-63-94 cm.

The runner-up is currently a level 1 dermatologist at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital. She graduated from Tay Nguyen University of Medicine in 2021 with a general medical degree and worked at Gia Lai Provincial Hospital for a period.

She comes from a family with a tradition in medicine: her father was a doctor and her grandmother a nurse. Her older sister and younger brother, Mr. Vietnam Dinh Ta Bi, are also in the medical field.

Dinh Y Quyen participated in the top 5 Q&A segment. Asked "As a young person, what will you do to contribute to Vietnam's rising era?", she emphasized knowledge and responsibility.

She highlighted her ongoing community project, "Autistic Children - Self-Inflicted Skin Diseases". Quyen has encountered many children with autism spectrum disorder who exhibit complex dermatological symptoms. Many of these cases face disadvantages, neglect, or improper care. "I want to contribute to creating a healing environment where both the physical and mental health of children are heard and protected," she stated.

In everyday life, Y Quyen prefers sportswear and crop tops that accentuate her slim waist. She maintains her health and physique through exercise and sports like running, badminton, and swimming.

Dinh Y Quyen has experience on stage. She was Miss Tay Nguyen University of Medicine in 2016 and later reached the top 40 in Miss Universe Vietnam 2022.

At 29, Quyen thought her chances to compete in beauty pageants were over. When Miss Grand Vietnam organizers extended the age limit to 35, she decided to return.

Dinh Y Quyen presents on the theme of peace.

She also favors princess-style dresses that complement her fair skin.

The runner-up plans to balance her work as a doctor with entertainment and community activities.
