The singer submitted his application to the Long Bien ward (Hanoi) People's Committee in July. In early September, he was called for a medical examination to determine his eligibility for military service in early 2026. I believe that training in the military environment will help me mature and gain a deeper perspective on life," he said.

In late August, Thien Tung released the song "Silently Loving the Motherland," which portrays the sacrifices of soldiers. While researching the war for the song, he developed a passion for writing about his homeland. "This inspired me to apply for military service, which is also an opportunity to gain practical experience and understand what it means to be a soldier," he said.
Thien Tung, known as the "Drill Prince," gained attention on social media with his homemade mask and crown. His songs, including "Love Tower," "For Once," and "I've Lost Everything," have garnered millions of views.
His newly established fan page has over 80,000 followers. His livestreams also attract tens of thousands of viewers. He said he has written over 200 songs in various genres. He has participated in several competitions, winning second place in "Little Hero" and reaching the top 5 in "Vietnam Idol Kids."
