"I am honored to have the opportunity to stand on the Intervision stage. I'm excited and eager to introduce Vietnamese culture through music," Duc Phuc said after the draw for performance order on 12/9 at the Russia National Center.
He will perform 20th out of the 23 contestants. Duc Phuc will perform "Phu Dong Thien Vuong" (composed by Ho Hoai Anh), inspired by the legend of Saint Giong and the image of bamboo.
The singer said he accepted the invitation from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism several weeks ago. He and his team immediately began preparing the new song and brainstorming stage designs.

He left for Russia on 11/9 to participate in related activities and prepare for his performance. Duc Phuc worked directly with the technical team, reviewing sound, lighting, visual effects, and choreography. He revealed that the performance will feature props like conical hats and "chieu coi" (rush mats), along with several backup dancers.
"I want to showcase the image of a resilient Vietnam and its people's strong spirit of unity," he said.
Backstage, Duc Phuc met contestants from Cuba, UAE, China, Belarus, Qatar, Venezuela, South Africa, and Brazil. He prepared dozens of conical hats decorated with images of Hoan Kiem Lake, coffee, and "banh my" (Vietnamese baguette) as gifts.
