During the awards gala on 23/8, the organizers played a video showcasing five nominees for "The best group performance - Most creative group performance," including the performance of "Not My Fault" at Live Stage 3. My My was the leader of this performance, however, the screen displayed "LyHan's Team". Ultimately, the award went to AAA (Lien quan 2, led by Tien Tien).
This incident sparked backlash from the audience and My My's fans, who criticized the organizers for their lack of professionalism and failure to properly acknowledge the singer's role and efforts.
On the afternoon of 25/8, the program acknowledged the error. "After discovering the mistake, we proactively contacted My My and her team to apologize. This error affected the moment of recognition for the contestants' hard work and performance," a representative stated.
According to the organizers, the technical team is currently correcting the video information across all broadcasting platforms.
My My's side stated that they did not dwell on the incident and accepted the organizers' apology lightheartedly. Currently, she and the other stars are rehearsing for the show's first concert, which will take place on 13/9 in TP HCM.
Reflecting on her three-month journey on the show, My My feels she has grown significantly. "After the show, I feel more courageous and confident in expressing myself, and more willing to try new things," My My said.

The show "Em xinh say hi", which aired from mid-year, aimed to "discover the new generation of female idols in Vietnamese music". 30 contestants were divided into teams, competing directly through group performances. After 14 episodes, Phuong My Chi won first place, and LyHan was the runner-up. The remaining three members of the "Best 5 - Em xinh All-Around Music Group" were Bich Phuong, Orange, and Lamoon.
The program has been considered one of the highlights of the music scene so far this year. The contestants created many explosive performances that generated significant discussion on digital platforms. Many Gen Z faces and newcomers to the music scene, such as Muoi, Anh Sang Aza, Dao Tu A1J, and My My, had the opportunity to connect with a wider audience. Established singers like Bich Phuong, Bao Anh, Tien Tien, and Miu Le presented fresh images, rediscovering their passion for music after a period of absence.
The program was produced by the same team that successfully organized "Anh trai say hi" in mid-2024.
