‘Em xinh’ stars support Lamoon’s solo debut

The "Em xinh say hi" cast, including Phuong My Chi, Juky San, and Lam Bao Ngoc, rallied behind Lamoon at her debut album showcase.

On the evening of 6/9, Lamoon held a concert titled "La Moon," named after her album released two days prior. The concert marked a turning point in the singer's career following her top 5 finish (Versatile Group) on the music show "Em xinh say hi." Lamoon performed various tracks from her album, showcasing a range of styles.

She delivered an energetic performance of "Synth Chuc Nang Ly" – the track chosen for her music video released earlier in September. Playing the role of a playful young bride entering the wedding aisle, Lamoon exuded a mischievous charm.

The audience joined in on the chorus of "Synth Chuc Nang Ly," creating an electric atmosphere. The performance also featured singer Juky San.

"Em xinh" winner Phuong My Chi commented, "Lamoon's performance style is becoming increasingly fresh and versatile."

Lamoon energized the stage with "Bai Thuoc Dong Y."

With "Notice Me," a song inspired by sports and first love, Lamoon conveyed a message about the simple joys of life.

The upbeat track "Dive" allowed Lamoon to showcase her vocal range. Singer Tuimi praised Lamoon's high note in the performance, saying it gave her "goosebumps."

She transformed from youthful to sensual during her performance of "Khong Mot Loi Nao."

Nearly 500 audience members cheered Lamoon on during her performance.

She performed "Duong Gian," the piece she performed at the "Em xinh say hi" finale in August. After two years in showbiz, Lamoon shared, "I'm more open and confident now. The intensity of working in competitions and music programs has made me stronger."

Lamoon closed the show with "When I'm Gone," a song written specifically for her first film role as Ut Kho in "Dia Dao," a film that garnered attention upon its release earlier this year.

Ho Thu Anh, Lamoon's co-star in the film, recalled witnessing Lamoon cry frequently due to work pressure when she first started her career. "Seeing her on stage today, I feel all her hard work has paid off," Ho Thu Anh stated.

Director Bui Thac Chuyen (right) attended the event to support Lamoon.

Lamoon discussed the album's production process.

All 12 songs on her debut album were written and prepared by Lamoon over three years. In many songs, she blends modern music genres with pentatonic melodies. She collaborated with producers like Jexxica (JustaTee), BeeBB, CM1X, Ly Anh Khoa, Darrys, and LNK to create a diverse and colorful product.

Lamoon, whose real name is Nguyen Le Diem Hang, is 22 years old and a graduate of Nguyen Binh Khiem Specialized High School in Quang Nam. She won top prizes in provincial student competitions, placed second in the entrance exam for Ho Chi Minh City University of Theater and Cinema (2021), majoring in acting. Lamoon was a vocalist at the Trung Vuong Theater in Da Nang. In 2023, she competed in Vietnam Idol, reaching the top 6 and receiving praise from judges My Tam and Huy Tuan for her youthful energy.
