Phan Nhu Thuy, 30, from Da Nang, is active in the singing and stage performance field. She was the runner-up of Tuyet Dinh Song Ca - Cap Doi Vang 2016 and Hay Nghe Toi Hat 2021, reached the top 7 of Giai Dieu Chung Doi, and won Cuoi Xuyen Viet - Tieu Lam Hoi (as part of the Buffalo comedy group). She has also performed many cover songs that have attracted millions of views, such as Lac Troi, Noi Gio Len, and Hom Nay Em Rat Met.

The 26-year-old Nguyen Thi Loan, from Tuyen Quang, has 6 years of professional boxing experience. She won a silver medal at the Southeast Asian Youth Games in Thailand (2017) and a bronze medal at the National Championship (2017).

On 21/8, the organizers announced the top 35 finalists and presented sashes at a press conference.

At the casting call on 11/8, Nguyen Thi Loan impressed the judges with her athleticism during The Grand Arrival talent showcase.

"I started training at the age of 12 and then competed for the Vietnamese national team both domestically and internationally," she said. "After retiring, I continued to pursue my passion for fitness competitions. Coming from an athletic background, I've worn sneakers more often than heels, and people often commented, 'Why do you look so masculine?' Through this competition, I want to show everyone the feminine side hidden within my strong personality," she added.

The competition also attracted many experienced contestants returning to compete. Nguyen Thi Kieu My, from Tay Ninh, made a splash at Miss Grand Vietnam 2022 with her energetic introduction. After 3 years, she said she will show the audience and judges her growth and transformation.

Tran Nhu Ngoc (left), also known as Lily Chen, 30, from Tay Ninh, is a singer and actress. She was the runner-up of Tinh Bolero 2019 and En Vang 2022. She has also acted in projects such as That Son Tam Linh, Me Rom, and Me Bien. Lily Chen said she entered the beauty pageant to present a fresh image to the audience after many years in the entertainment industry.

Nguyen Thi Thanh Ngan, from Dong Thap, won a bronze medal at the National Vovinam Championship (2017) and a gold medal in traditional martial arts at the provincial Sports Festival in 2018.

Le Thi Thu Tra (left), from Nghe An, a former contestant of Miss National Vietnam 2024, reached the top 15. Returning to this new competition, she is determined to win. Thu Tra is pursuing a master's degree in Business Administration at the University of Commerce.

Dak Lak contestant Mlo H Senaivi catwalks at the event. She attracted attention at the casting call in early August. Senaivi also competed in Miss Universe Vietnam 2025 earlier this year but didn't place high. She feels that she is well-suited for Miss Grand Vietnam, so she decided to try her luck. She has a striking figure, a strong academic record, and studied abroad in the US.

The 4th season of the competition kicked off mid-year, with the final scheduled for 14/9 in Ho Chi Minh City. Highlights of the competition schedule include the 12th season of Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest (VBFF) and the National Costume competition. The top 35 will also compete in sub-contests such as The Grand Voice, The Grand Walk, The Grand Heat, The Grand Shoot, The Grand Chat, and The Grand Business.

The organizers have announced some of the judges for this year's competition: Miss Ha Kieu Anh (head judge), artist Vuong Duy Bien (deputy head judge), Miss Le Hoang Phuong, Doan Thien An, and actor Quoc Truong. The new Miss Grand Vietnam will compete in Miss Grand International 2025 in November, at a location yet to be announced.

Following Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien's victory at Miss Grand International 2021 in Thailand, the Vietnamese license holder decided to organize a national competition and send the winner to the international pageant. Over the past 3 seasons, Doan Thien An, Le Hoang Phuong, and Vo Le Que Anh have been crowned.
