Gen Z stars attend 'Em xinh say hi' finale

Singers Anh Sang AZA, Muoi, and Lamoon sported youthful outfits at the "Em xinh say hi" season one finale gala.

The "em xinh" contestants pose on the pink carpet.

Muoi wore a pink Y2K-inspired outfit to the event. She came to support and congratulate her colleagues who made it to the final round. The singer was a promising contestant on the show but was eliminated after episode 8.

Orange, wearing a bustier top and leather boots, arrived early at the District 12 studio on the evening of 23/8. The singer was one of the finalists and a predicted winner by the audience.

The organizers broadcast the pre-recorded group performances of the top 16. The awards gala was then broadcast live at 9:30 pm.

Lamoon accessorized her outfit with a crescent moon, a nod to her stage name. The music newcomer secured a spot in the final round alongside more established artists.

Her real name is Nguyen Le Diem Hang, and she is 22 years old. Lamoon reached the top 6 of Vietnam Idol 2023, receiving praise for her pleasant voice from judges My Tam and Huy Tuan. In April, she played the role of Ut Kho in the film *Tunnel: The Sun in the Shadows*, directed by Bui Thac Chuyen.

Anh Sang AZA, the youngest contestant on the show, dressed youthfully. Her elimination after Live Stage 3 was met with disappointment from the audience.

Her real name is Nguyen Le Ngoc Anh Sang. The 19-year-old joined SGO48, a Vietnamese branch of the Japanese idol group, at the age of 12. After the group disbanded in 2021, she focused on her studies and prepared for a solo career. In 2024, she released her debut EP, *AZA*, in collaboration with musician Kai Dinh, adopting the EP's title as her new stage name. On "Em xinh say hi", Anh Sang's performance of "Run" (composed by Tong Dai) made a strong impression, reaching the top of YouTube's trending music chart.

Juky San wore a futuristic outfit to the event. In the solo round of the finale, she performed "Nguoi dau tien" ("The First Person"), a song about the yearning for eternal love. The audience expected Juky San to be in the top 5, noting her significant efforts.

The singer described the show as a training ground where all her skills were honed and refined.

Chi Xe appeared on the pink carpet of the finale gala. The singer was among the first six contestants eliminated from the program in June.

At the finale, based on audience votes, the organizers announced the winner, runner-up, and Best 5.

"Em xinh say hi", which aired from the end of May and consisted of 14 episodes, aimed to "discover the next generation of female idols in Vietnamese music". Thirty contestants were divided into teams, competing directly through group performances.

The show was produced by the same team behind the successful "Anh trai say hi" program in mid-2024. After the final ranking, the participating singers will perform in their first concert on 13/9 in Ho Chi Minh City.
