Hillside Kitchen, founded by Dao Duy Tai and Nguyen Trong Hieu, showcases the simple beauty of central Vietnam's cuisine and rural life from a small kitchen built on a hillside in their hometown.

The channel features rustic dishes and revives forgotten flavors. Tai and Hieu also capture the scenery of their homeland, traditional crafts, and the simple work of the people of Quang province.

With over 300 videos, Hillside Kitchen has attracted over 800,000 followers across multiple platforms. Beyond cooking, the channel also undertakes community projects like Cooking for Children and Reunion Meals, supporting the elderly, children in mountainous areas, and those in difficult circumstances.

In 2024, Hillside Kitchen livestreamed a fundraiser that garnered over 140 million VND to support those affected by Typhoon Yagi in northern Vietnam. In 2025, Dao Duy Tai and Nguyen Trong Hieu continue their mission to share the beauty of their hometown cuisine, preserve traditional crafts, and spread love through their simple films.
